Playing any game on Mac/laptop with Parsec

You NEED a main gaming rig and good internet connection.

I use the app Parsec(Free), it gives you remote control to another pc (with however many limitations you want, you can give access to only one window/game). With good enough internet there's zero delay and 1080p 60 fps (you can change these details).

I've used it with friends and playing games on eachothers PC's too and this was my first time trying with my laptop. I can't use a cable for the internet on the mac so that was the most iffy part.

You can try this with any old laptop/pc with shitty hardware or with a mac. I wanted to share in case people didn't know about the app. This isn't an ad I just love the program and can't believe how well it works, I've played apex on my friends pc remotely, feeling just like playing it on my own lol.

To note: I couldn't get my controller to work with it. it's probably user error and you can figure it out somehow. But with mouse and keyboard it's super simple.

  1. Omg! I’ve been trying to tell my friends about this! I do the same thing in bed with my MacBook pro using parsec, it’s perfect! And my MacBook won’t ever get hot in bed so it’s super cozy when I don’t want a hot laptop to deal with.

  2. My girlfriend has a crappy laptop, we used to be long distance relationship and I worked nights while she worked days.
When I went to work she’d play games on my pc over parsec.

And when we had time off together we’d play things via parsec together.

  3. Just adding onto the post, if you don’t have a good PC but you have good internet, you might be able to do something similar with GeForce Now! You need to own the game, but you can log into a PC in a server farm and stream the game from there to your bad laptop.

  4. Playstation controllers don’t work on PC without using DS4Windows software. On Mac I don’t know any software btw

Only Xbox controllers (and third party) don’t need anything more, and you can just plug-and-play
