I love any chaotic, morally corrupt scientific enterprise. Vault-Tec and Aperture Science are both doing things Just Because and I love it.
Aperture, not even a second thought.
They’re morally bonkers and actual mad scientists who figured out how to use moon rocks to create teleportation tech, and mantis men hybrid super soldiers.
Umbrella is a solid one because Hunk hunk is Bae. Also Ada?

Cerberus… it has The Illusive Man, who has to be one of my favorite villains of all time
I mean, in Mass Effect 1 you’re all “okay, Cerberus is bonkers”, in 2 you’re forced to work for them are like “okay, maybe they’re not so bad…just maybe”, and then in 3 you’re kicked square in the head in the first hour of gameplay because yes, Cerberus is that bad…
Shinra is a classic, and almost as evil as real life energy companies.
Also I’m very amused to see aperture but not black mesa. Oh how the mighty have fallen

Out of the ones I know here? Ceberus. It operates more like an white supremacist terrorist network than any sort of business but that’s kind of the “charm” I suppose. I also like imagining being in a universe where white supremacists are not only hates but often shot at on sight compared to being hired by your local police department.
Mind you, I do kind of wish there were more lawful neutral sort of corporations in fiction that cause problems for the protagonists without needing to be played up as comically evil. Real corporations don’t go around mustache twirling but do dispose of people and their livelihoods the moment they become inconvenient.

The UNSC is so absurdly evil in Halo lore and the games don’t even acknowledge it at all. It’s actually kind of disturbing that this blatantly fascist empire never recieves any criticism in the source material.
I saw ComStar, I go with them. Techno-religious corporation *and* (secretly for a while) military faction that controls all interstellar communications and believes they are the ones who are supposed to *save humanity* while actively trying to send everyone else to the Stone Age….

Half-Life 2 is one of my favorite games and one I spent a lot of time in across all of its episodes and everything else source made growing up. So the Combine will have to be it. I love the existential horror of them.

Umbrella corp: because though fictional, multiple bio-tech/pharmaceutical companies are using the umbrella logo irl and every time I see them on the road I think of zombies. 🤣

Can the combine even be considered ‘morally’ anything? They’re basically a huge unthinking war machine who literally only care about expanding their influence. Everything is a resource to be exploited and they are brutally efficient about it

Umbrella managed to make a truly startling amount of horrific abominations even as they were in the middle of getting shut down after being responsible for why the government had to nuke a fucking city. It’s honestly remarkable.

Favourite as in “might join them anyway” or favourite as in “love killing them”?
For the former, The Brotherhood of Steel. Yeah, sometimes they’re technically good guys, but most of the time they’re isolationist tech-hoarders *at best*, and they’re definitely morally corrupt in Fallout 4. But for all that, they’re not that bad compared to some of the other in-universe options.
For the ones I love to kill, gotta be the Wolfenstein Nazis.
I gotta send it up for my boys at Ultor. Though, to be fair, that’s mostly because PTMC isn’t there, sadly…
