Not sure if anyone saw this and maybe I missed the posts, but one of my favourite streamers posted about it:

According to the website: “Tired of being told to kill yourself in online games? We are too.
Rights to Unmute is a 501(c)(3) charity that actively combats harassment, misogyny, racism & bigotry in online games through advocacy, co-ed tournaments, scholarships, educational resources, and by nurturing a supportive social community. “
It’s a nice sentiment. But I have checked their site: it’s not clear how they plan to combat harassment. Are they focused on, for example, educating gamers or developers?
Are they advocating trying to get developers to adopt stronger bans/zero tolerance policies or are they themselves developing tools to mute/ban repeated offenders?
Like I said before, it’s a nice goal but their way to get there is currently very not clear.
