As someone new to the series from the hype of the TV show, I decided to start from the very beginning and absolutely adored it and do not regret choosing it at all despite the knife to my back in the ending. I even managed to keep my companions including Dogmeat alive to the very end!

The absolute horror that it was to keep the companions Alive in this Game. I remember the last mission especially with those random crits that pulverized you even in full power armor.
Ah fallout, the endings are never retiring on a beach with your partner and dog somewhere .. the wasteland just claims you in some way or another 🙁
FO2 was in the same vein of FO1 (though i do recommend mods, they really add alot) so you’ll enjoy it i think! Downside is that they use male Vault Dweller as canon, I rme every time
