Someone is selling this. Not sure if this is a good deal for a gaming PC. 4090 is intriguing and the 48gb of ram is crazy. I only have a laptop with a 2070. Was actually planning on buying or building a PC in the next year.

It depends on a lot of factors, but yes.
If the parts are all from reputable brands, than especially so. But that’s hard to convey.
It could also be pre-built garbage that some amateur added after market parts to to ‘supe’ it up.
2.75tb of ssd space is an odd number, so is 48GB of ram
BUT … 4090’s are worth like $1600 MSRP, and afiak you can’t really find them for sale at that price. The GPU alone is worth that much of the system.
Edit: I want to add. It may also be damaged in some subtle way. So if you buy it, I’d insist on seeing it fully powered on and rendering games at some meaningful resolution and frame rate, like at least 1440p.
Edit2: I am an IT Professional with 10+ years of experience in this field and used to build custom systems as part of my job.
Just because it’s always worth saying – if this is via Facebook market place or simple, DO NOT send cash/cheques etc before seeing the product in person and in full working order. Check out r/scams for more info on common Facebook marketplace etc scams to know what to look out for.
Is this something you’re buying from someone online? I wouldn’t buy used online, only in person where I can have them show me it works and functions 100% before I hand over the money.
What’s the MOBO?
What version of 4090?
What kind of ram? DDR4?
Not enough information, but what’s available I would not consider buying. I’d continue saving to buy new with the parts you want to build it with or investing in a (new) prebuilt with the specs you want.
The GPU alone is worth around $2000, so yeah it’s a good deal.
I would ask them to clarify which 4090 it is though. There can be a lot of differences between different models when it comes to noise levels and thermals.
Personally I wouldn’t consider anything that doesn’t tell you the full specs! You don’t know the motherboard, the type and brand of the ssd drive, the gpu brand (it could be one of those knock off brands). There’s always a catch!
idk about pricing but those parts *should* be really really good. You should ask for clarification on the brands for all components and for maybe the full names for the graphics card, ssd and ram.
Based on those details: you should expect ram to be ddr4/5, graphics card to have a clock speed of >2000mhz & around 20gb memory.
the price reflects about what you would pay for the parts so it’s not a particularly good deal but it’s not a ripoff. that being said intel is quite far behind amd when it comes to cpus right now so it’s not the best possible computer you could buy for $2200.
The price is probably good(depending how much the GPU cost is your country.
But i still would not recommend the System. The CPU is still enough for gaming, but it is 4 years old. Which means that the Mainboard also is prob 4 years old and does not support DDR5. So no future upgrades possible.
The Seller Prob build the System in 2020 and later on put a 4090 in. If you are getting a new System i would recommend DDR5 Ram and a newer CPU with matches with the GPU. Then again performance wise the CPU would not make much of differnce if you play at 4k or 1440p.The RAM would cost u a few fps. On 1080p the CPU would massivly bottleneck the GPU.
If u decide to buy the System make sure that it has a decent power supply in it. Also ask about the drives. 1TB should at least be a M2 Gen4 drive for that price.
there is no way to beat that price with a 4090. ,yhos this are over $1700 on their own.
but please make sure tbe parts are decent ask for detailed info

Here’s the msinfo page.
I have that CPU (the KF variant without video output). That’ll be your bottleneck. I’m personally sorta stuck with it because my mobo only supports up to 10th gen intel CPUs, and it does hurt my performance in heavier games like Cyberpunk. It’s not the worst deal I’ve ever seen (the 4090 is a fucking monster!), but it’s something to be aware of. I’d see if the mobo supports upgrades, because you’ll eventually need one as system requirements continue to rise.
