I would love to meet other girl gamers that love Souls-like games! My favorites are DS2, Elden Ring of course and indie games like Death's Door and Salt & Sanctuary: https://www.sarahscozylife.com/post/8-soulslike-games-on-switch

Absolute favourite is Bloodborne! I do love all other fromsoft titles and most of the other souls-like I’ve tired (except the tragedy that’s Lords of the Fallen-both games and Mortal Shell).
Lies of P so far, there’s a lot of souls like games but I kept forgetting that one wasn’t fromsoft
Best non-fromsoft in my opinion is Nioh 2. Character creation, cohesive design, and the stance/stamina mechanic is so fun to mess around with. You can also get some crazy combos going if you can effectively dance between stances with some weapons. Yes the loot system is a fair bit grindy and “numbers go up” but man. If you just wanna have a good time with a difficult game and the most anime story, can’t recommend it enough. You also don’t need to play the first one to enjoy it!
Tunic is a beautiful and wonderful game with a very souls like challenge and style while having a unique style and mechanics
Kena Bridge of Spirits is a really cute one that is Souls like that I enjoyed
if non fromsoft then kena bridge of spirits
Fromsoftware Games: Bloodborne and Demon Souls
Soulslike: definitely Lies of P!!!!! Like…it’s so goooood?!!
Oooh I saw a picture somewhere of Another crabs treasure on this post, that one is pretty fun and cute.
I think bloodborne, hollow knight and deaths gambit are my top 3 souls like games.
However I’ve also enjoyed Salt and Sacrifice (in that series)
If we’re talking non fromsoft games, I really like remnant 2 a lot. Calling it dark souls with guns really doesn’t do it justice. The new lords of the fallen (not the crappy old one) is pretty good too. Really liked Lies of P until a segment near the end where it locks you out of upgrades and purchasing supplies. Ended up getting stuck there for awhile. Ended up finishing it but it left a sour taste in my mouth
I just 100% Elden Ring. It was awesome. Now playing Dark Souls remastered
not counting fromsoft games, Lords of the Fallen 2023 and Remnant 1 & 2 easily take the cake.
Dark Souls 3! Also, does Blasphemous qualify? If yes, than add it to the list – I only played the first one tho ☺️
Lies of p and code vein
elden ring and code vein.
My favourites are Elden ring and Bloodborne, I also love hollow knight but don’t know if it is considered souls like
Edit to add:
Reading another comment just remembered lies of p exists omg that game is so fucking good if you loved Bloodborne you have to play lies of p, also the music is amazing
Elden Ring because I love that beautiful world and it has many places to explore.
If not from Fromsoftware then Lies of P for sure, the OST in that game is great and cool weapon mix match mechanic.
Fromsoft is either elden ring or DS1 probably and non fromsoft is lies of P, although shout-out to unsighted and remnant 2
Mortal Shell: a fairly short game, but really good imo. Plus I really like the roguelike mode they added with the DLC. Have to get back to it now that I think about it.
Code Vein: for the anime and character creator enjoyers among us. Love the combat, story and world. Traumatized by the Cathedral tho (IYKYK)
Honorable mention to Thymesia since I still have to finish it but what I did play, I enjoyed. Has some banger tracks too.
And obviously Elden Ring but that’s to be expected at this point. Took over my life for months. Still need to finish the DLC though, my dumbass started it at NG+5 😭
Love Lies of P. Only one I’ve beaten more than once and plan on doing it again when the DLC comes out.
Sekiro for me, I think no other game has come anywhere close to how good deflecting feels, in terms of rhythm, visuals, and sound design.
Also, I really love having infinite stamina!
I don’t like “souls-likes” at all because most of them are just blatant rip offs with difficulty for difficulty’s sake.
I don’t like modern fromsoft games either because they focus too much on rollslop boss fights at the expense of everything else and have abandoned a more grounded realistic feeling of earlier games in favor of shonen anime fights.
My favorite ones are DS1 and PS3 version of Demon’s souls (remake sucks balls). I’m thinking of giving King’s field 4 a shot just for the amazing soundtrack.
