Is this a good one?

I seen someone last night asking about what games are easy for moms to play; like you can pick it up & put it down a lot. I’m not a mom, but I do have a short attention span lol & I feel like a lot of ppl recommended this game but I lost the tread & I need to know!!!

  1. Is it a good game? Yes it’s a masterpiece but since you mentioned you have a short attention span, this game will require you to pay attention. You can’t button smash your way through you need to be aware of everything you are doing. And it’s a pretty challenging game. So keep that in mind before you buy, but imo this game is worth spending time and money.

  2. Ohoho yes. You’re in for a treat! The narrative is so beautifully interwoven with the gameplay, and if you’re a fan of Greek mythology it’s especially fun and full of great interpretations and honestly a bit cheeky

  3. Yes, it’s great! It’s one of my favorite games! You could put it down pretty much anytime you need to. There’s a lot of replayability and the gameplay is great! I like to play this for a bit as a sort of mindless hack and slash game (once I really knew the combat and enemy moves) for like 30 minutes or so.

  4. It’s certainly a well made game but if you’re the kind of person who gets easily frustrated or isn’t a big hack and slash fan you might not enjoy it much. I played it for a while but couldn’t really get into it, I think roguelikes just aren’t for me unless they’re turn based. Again, nothing against the game itself but it’s not for everyone.

  5. Rogue like. you play it, you love it, if you like the story you can follow it, or you can just ignore it. Lots of characters to like and interact with. Also, REALLY good art and soundtrack. So plenty to look at, and plenty to listen too. Also the gameplay is simple and rewarding. Lots of powerups, but no multipage wiki you need to read to understand what each thing does.

  6. Yes, it’s great. I haven’t beaten it. It isn’t a type of game in usually play, but they make it fun. I love the characters and art. I usually play games on mute but really appreciate the voice acting and music in Hades. I’m trying to beat it so I can play Hades 2.

  7. Yes, it’s a great game and good for short sessions. However, it can also be challenging, and requires skill which you’ll build up over time. So if you don’t play frequently enough, I think you might find it very difficult to progress very far.

A game I’ve been playing that doesn’t require twitch reflexes and is pretty easy to pick up and put down is Backpack Battles. You organize your backpack, and the things you put in it and where affect your fighting capability, though the fight itself is automated. Idk if that is more your style, but it is fun and easy to pick up and put down.
