The one thing I struggled to enjoy in Baldur’s Gate 3 was the combat, as I never liked games that rely so much on luck. My first playthrough wasn’t even enjoyable because of that. So please allow me a little bragging because I just managed to beat its infamous Honour Mode in. The first. Attempt 😎

Bard is so good for HM, especially in act 2. I put some points in warlock too so I played a Bardlock which was honestly so much fun.
My first honour mode end because of a bug that made me can’t help my downed companion at all or kill them. Enemies wouldn’t kill them either and 20 of them kept chasing my last survivor aka Shadowheart to the end of the earth while Astarion Karlach and me laid unconsciouson a roof with all ladder broken 😭.
Congrats! I still play on the easiest mode. Although it’s annoying the easiest mode won’t let me multiclass, alas.
You absolute fecking legend! That is *incredible*! I’m on my first HM run at the moment. I’ve done my first ever min-max character (tavern brawler monk) and, so far, everything — apart from the owlbear which I triggered accidentally — is easier than expected. I’m going carefully and approaching fights tactically. But I’m still just in the underdark, so we’ll see.
