*Minecraft* is mid? You think hundreds of millions of people worldwide just said “This game is mediocre but I guess I’ll buy it.” I guess we’re just calling every game mid now because genuinely how.
I was on the Crusader Kings II train for a long time, but I just bought Crusader Kings III during the last Steam Sale and damn do I love it so much more. So much more roleplay protentional. I find myself devolving into way less of a dudebro POS min-maxing edgelord while playing it too, which is how my typical Crusader Kings II game would go.
Gotta say I do agree with Skyrim being ungodly mid. The combat is just clicking, the story isn’t too engaging and the roleplay part is fairly minimal. The atmosphere is alright but definitely not my favorite compared to other, earlier games. Just generally a more limited and simplified version of what came before with a newer coat of paint
None of these games that I know are mid, never played HOI, rum world or Kerbal but CK2, Stellaris and Minecraft I’ve never touched mods (apart from CK AGOT) and they’re still great, and Fallout and Skyrim are incredible too even without mods

The modding community is so robust and tackled fixing things that EA either should have included in base game, or bugs they’ve never addressed
