Installed one of my oldest and most beloved city-builders (Zeus: Master of Olympus). Can only recommend it, it’s still a lot of cozy fun!

Ah, I love this game, but even before this one I already found Pharaoh, which was one of my first video games that took hundreds of hours of my time!
Does it still work without issues on modern Windows / computers? It is cheap on Steam, and Caesar 3 and Pharaoh + Cleopatra too, but I’ve heard complaints about glitches or compatibility issues.
I played a lot of Caesar III / Pharaoh / Emperor back in the day, spent most of a summer working my way through Pharaoh’s campaign, but somehow mostly skipped Zeus.
Wowwowwow the timing of this post – I JUST started playing Pharaoh: A New Era yesterday! I never played OG Pharaoh, but Zeus/Poseidon was my bread and butter back in the day (though if I’m honest, I think I was too young and absolute shit at it).
Really hoping Zeus will get a remake/remaster too!
Thank you so much for bringing this memory back! I remember my brother teaching me how to play when I was little. I was searching this game a couple of years ago but couldn’t remember the name! Time to play again.
I was a beta tester for that game! Loved all the citybuilders, Caesar 3, Pharaoh, etc.
OMG I had this back in the day too! It’s a great game
LOVE this game and grew up on it. It’s a comfort game for me, I cheat my behind off with money and skip the colony levels if I don’t want to play them.
My latest thing has been trying to find the most sandboxiest player-made levels to play. I just want A LOT of space and a ton of resources to choose from and to then eventually conquer the crap out of everyone near me. There’s not many of these levels but I’ve found a couple!
