I’m not sure if all the sleepless nights and back pain will feel worth it in the end, but right now, I’m proud to see my name on a project as cool as *Extra Coin*. This is my first time working as an art director for a game, and maybe it’s just the adrenaline and enthusiasm talking, but those are what kept me going through these last few weeks as we finalized the game.
They say turning your passion into a job can drain it from you, and I partly agree. But perhaps a new passion can emerge from art directing, one where the goal is to pass that creative energy on to others through what I’ve made. As cheesy as that sounds, I believe in it.
