I think no man find her ugly actually. Some gamers just needed something to hate on since it’s Ubisoft and they found nothing better than the female character that is not design like a sexdoll or whatever. Don’t worry, without context I’m pretty sure most men would find Kay quite cute. (I say this as a man)

It’s pretty clear the only reason idiots online call her “ugly” is because they’re trying to spin the narrative that she’s made to look trans and to satisfy the trans community for some reason.
In reality, she looks a lot like Ripley from aliens, which is very likely an inspiration for the character considering they’re probably trying to mimic the 70s-80s aesthetics of the original star wars movies.

Honestly this line of thinking is why I altogether stopped watching Asmongold. Generally I thought he was pretty fair with his opinions, but recently he’s started feeding into the idea that every character needs to look like a 12/10 conventional hot person.
He’s also been pretty problematic when it comes to DEI-related stuff lately, flagging anything they see as outside of the general norm as ugly or intentionally inclusive. Like people calling Lara Croft mannish because her face isn’t rounded.
I can point out a TON of famously hot women that have “mannish” faces and square jaws that are considered conventionally attractive. But I shouldn’t even have to say that every female character out there shouldn’t have to be what these people consider hot 100% of the time to satisfy their horniness.
