Hey everyone! So… a bit late posting here, but new trailers for the upcoming Fatal Fury game dropped! It's crazy it's been over 20 years since the last one. It's looking REALLY good so far. From what we've seen, a lot of the old mechanics are brought over with some new things. They are really pushing this to be a new flagship game alongside King of Fighters and their truly "modern" fighter to really put them back on the map. Controls wise, there will be traditional and a simple command scheme. The tradeoffs for the simple version have yet to be announced. This time around, there are English dubs which for SNK…it means they are serious about reaching more western markets. The art style is gorgeous. Folks at Evo Japan will have a hands-on with an early build, similar to folks who already got to try the game since this announcement.

For anyone wanting an idea of what this is like gameplay-wise, you can buy the Fatal Fury Vol 2 (PS2 Classic) and Mark of the Wolves on PSN – for MotW you *need* to do it on a console or it’ll only let you buy the Neo Geo port, it’s a pain – additionally Neo Geo ports also exist for KoF and Fatal Fury on Switch but if you don’t have either of those they’re easily emulated 💜 (I think they’re also available on Steam but only MotW has proper online play)
