I have been playing Tsuki Odyssey for a while. I am in love with this game because it's a very chill and cute farming simulation. You don't need to overwatch adds or continuously click stuffs. Also, you can talk to great characters and there are some "secrets/cool stuffs" to discover.
I am reaching out because I have been looking for more games of this type but apart from the other opus (Tsuki Adventure and Tsuki Adventure 2), I can't find anything that I really like.
Would love to hear your recommendations!
I have three mobile games you can check out, but two are not traditional idle games (leave open and generate currency – I’m thinking cookie clicker) and one does allow you to watch ads for optional additional resources but is more traditionally an idle game that will run without interference but by far slower.
– Neko Atsume: a cat collection you check in on. When I played upon its initial release I didn’t spend any money and found it very consistent/generous with premium currency.
– Ushagi Shima: a bunny collector where you can completely design your space by placing plants/buildings/items. I don’t know how easy it is to be completely free to play – I followed the game development and immediately tipped the developer on release.
– Campfire Cat Cafe: restaurant manager idle game that generates more if you interact with it in small bursts. I really liked it and found it cute, but being impossible to unlock even half event items without spending felt bad so ultimately I quit.
I have the mobile game Hamster Inn by HyperBeard which I really enjoy. I also have PocketLove by the same developers but I haven’t opened it in a while. It’s on mobile too.

It’s probably less idle than you want though. I found there was a decent amount of micromanagement but maybe that was just me. Not sure how it works on mobile though, I’ve only done it in browser.
There’s a game called hidden folks I really like. Pretty cute, cute sound fx and comfy/cosy

If you play on PC, I recommend Chillquarium, it’s a cute aquarium idle game with adorable fish designs, and it’s super chill and fun to collect all the fish variants.
