Playing as a female character won't make you gay it means you also like to play as a women. Anyways by that logic all women have played as male characters atleast once does that make all women gay?

First mistake is trying to apply any sort of actual logic to sexism, or whatever it is they have going on in their heads
The term “woke” has lost all meaning. It’s just become a code word for “the entire cast isn’t comprised solely of straight white men sprinkled with a couple of women who fulfill my sexual fantasies”.

I worked with a guy who claimed that he wasn’t sexist, but playing games as a woman just “ruined the immersion” for him, and he’s never finished a game where he had to do so.
Electric mice, blue hedgehogs, flute melodies that change the weather, all immersive; playing as a woman, however….
The most ironic comments are that games need to be “realistic” in the way that the protagonist is a straight white cis male, but not “realistic” by not having 90+ GBs of wacky skins and emotes
The reality isn’t that men don’t want to play as women, they just don’t want to play as women they can’t ogle 😌
I literally don’t think about it. I choose a female character when I can but if I have to play a male character like Joel, Kratos, Geralt etc. I fucking dominate and be myself no matter what. My sex is not an identifier of who I am.
I stopped watching and reading gaming news for the most part, because the fans of pretty much everything get upset about…pretty much everything? Can’t we just enjoy things? Or not enjoy them, but let others experience it for themselves and decide if THEY like it?
I’m a little intrigued by a female protag in GTA. I might even try it out. If given the option, I almost always choose a female lead, not only because I identify more with them as a woman, but because their story tends to feel more impactful. Like Kassandra in AC:Odyssey, or FemShep in ME.

Oh fuck, this reminds me; inZoi character studio is currently free on Steam for the next few days. It’s the base for character creation in a new Sims competitor that is in plans for release by the South Korean company, Krafton.
Shit is supposed to get real so if you’re a fan of The Sims, I highly suggest gobbling up any pregame releases while they’re being offered.
Yeah I don’t get it, it’s been a longtime thing to assume people playing women characters in MMORPGs are guys unless you learn otherwise. I don’t understand why people are so upset about playing as women now. It has to be a loud vocal minority.
In the game I play, a lot of guys play girl characters. They say it’s because they’d rather watch a girl walk around all day than a guy. This logic disturbs me.
I don’t have an issue with the crossover. I like playing my male characters in writing, but it just seems like they’re sex objects in the game. It’s not like they’ve got a mix of characters or something. It’s all ladies for what feels like a gross reason to me.
I prefer the guys in that game to play guy characters because it comes off as less creepy. I’ve only ever heard them give that one reason. The reasons I like my guy characters isn’t really applicable here since nobody’s playing a role. And like I said, it’s not usually mixed. People usually have all guys or all ladies.
My point I guess, is I’ve never seen anyone worried about playing a girl because they’re worried it’ll affect their sexuality.
I watched the trailer recently and i feel like its still lacking because the mc is still tied to a man in the story which just felt bad, unless i misinterpreted it
I started playing female characters because… well, I _said_ it was because I’d rather watch a woman’s ass for however many hours I was going to spend in the game, but a few years later I’m on estradiol.

The fact we are practically forced to play as a man for the majority of games out there but the few games that has a female protagonist sets them off? And GTA 6 is going to have a male protagonist as well so it isn’t like they are stuck playing as a girl unlike a lot of games where we are stuck only as men.
