Hey all! I just wanted to give a shout to a game I found at PAX East this year! It's called Snacko and you play as an adorable cat and help rebuild/save an island and village while farming, raising animals and making friends! I got it immediately when I returned home and have played 6 hours and am loving it.
It's early access right now on steam but the devs do have plans for console (I asked about Switch) in the future.
It's definitely a different feel than some other similar games and at points was a little grind-y but I realized that was because I hadnt built certain tools or explored certain areas. Also their official discord is very kind and helpful!
Big things for me are the "go home" button that has no penalty, the cats obviously, decorating that is free placement and rotation (not grid locked) and the amount of decorative items you can eventually unlock. Also after the "story" you can continue to play on your farm and live your best cat life.
I LOVE this game!! 🥰 Its so fun and relaxing and I would do anything for Nobu Jr

I have been eyeing it from before it’s release. The biggest concern for me it that world looks so empty. Is it immersive while playing? Or does it feel empty and isolating?
