Also in case anyone’s not familiar: Potionomics is a deck builder and business sim game where you brew potions and then sell them with card-based haggling mechanics
It has a canonically female MC, plus a pretty diverse cast of characters to hang out with and romance.
I played through it around its initial release in 2022 and had a ton of fun – EXCEPT that I found it super frustrating to have to pick one single romance. So I’m really stoked to see this. I’m probably not gonna do a whole new playthrough, but I rejoice for the sake of everyone who gets to experience the game with this new feature.
Aww ok but that’s actually wholesome AF. I’m not poly but I recognize that relationship models are pretty exclusively catering to monogamy in games and it’s sweet that there can be some poly rep in a game. ❤️
I personally think that’s the funniest way to say ‘hey, you can romance everyone!’
Irl not for me personally but in a game? Yeah why not. Especially if the game doesn’t let you divorce (which I’m guessing it doesn’t)
