I always thought Shadowheart (BG3)would make an amazing dog name. I follow a rottweiler on tiktok called Sobeck after Dr Sobeck in the Horizon videogames. I briefly considered Alloy for my dog too lol.

ooh, adorable little pup! I know these may all be wrong breeds, but it’s the character personality trait, animal, and the names that counts!
I’m going to suggest Angelo, [Rinoa’s dog from Final Fantasy VIII](https://finalfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Sant)
I’m also going to suggest Nicole, from the upcoming game: [Sunset Hills](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1791590/Sunset_Hills/). I know the protagonist is a male, but you can turn it into a feminine version, and that’s how I came up with Nicole
You could also name her after an[ Animal Crossing dog character](https://nookipedia.com/wiki/Dog). I think my favorite dogs are Lucky, Daisy, and Goldie.
Lastly, I suggest Belle, [Snoopy’s sister](https://peanuts.fandom.com/wiki/Belle). I grew up watching the Charlie Brown shows, and I was surprised to learn Snoopy has a sister. There’s also [Molly](https://peanuts.fandom.com/wiki/Molly_and_Rover), another sister that was introduced later in the show.

Solstice, Sol for short? Krile (cry-el) is the name of one of my favorite cute characters, but shortened would just be Kri which might sound odd to call out at the park 😅 What a darling, gentle-eyed sweetiepie!!!
Sif from Dark Souls, largely believed to be a she-wolf due to the Scandinavian gendering of the name and origins to Tjors wife. She takes up her masters sword to defend his grave until her last breath.
I also like [Hewie](https://capcomdemento.fandom.com/wiki/Hewie) or Hew from Haunting Ground. While it is a “boys name” it is the first line spoken in the game, and he serves as the fierce protector of his companion Fiona if she treats him kindly.
