What I consider my favorite changes all the time but I have followed these two indie devs for a few years and have supported them. The concept of their games are also more unique compared to others so I like sharing for a new game play experience.
I think the only indies i liked are rpg maker games like ao oni, misao, the witches house, etc.
Im not really an indie fan but those are the ones i used to play back when those games were popular
I promise Epic Dumpster Bear is one of the best platformers I’ve ever played. Using a dpad, it’s probably the most responsive games ever. Genuinely recommend it
Laika: Aged Through Blood, Buckshot Roulette, Stacklands. The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (+ 3 DLCs), Error 143, Hades, Carrion, Hollow Knight, Luck be a Landlord, Stardew Valley, Dredge, Pilgrims, Dead Cells, Scourgebringer, Peglin, Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate, How Fish is Made, Sludge Life—
and I’ve realised I’m just listing my whole library I will stop now ~~I have an unhealthy addiction to indie games my wallet is suffering~~
Journey, Spritfarer, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Sea of Stars, Flower, GRIS.
Kenshi, The Wandering Village, Project Zomboid. Indie means it’s not made by a AAA studio right?
