Yes I always do a handwriting list for the games I want. I am sorry for my handwriting I hope you can read it.
I don't have a switch yet so fire emblem is not possible at the moment. I am someone who likes physical copies so idk about Baldurs Gate yet.

Baldurs Gatee 🥳
BG3 is pretty safe, nier rep and neir:A are great tho way cheaper.
DDogma2 is the same on PC as console basically so go for it. Great game.
that said i do prefer kb/mouse over controller for bg3, as the stacked menus are a bit harder to memorize/customize on controller format.
BG3 is amazing
I feel like it’s very difficult to do better than BG3 here, even taking into account your preference for physical media.
Of the ones on this list that I’ve played, Three Houses, Replicant, or BG3 are the ones I’d recommend.
Fire emblem 3 houses. Adore that game and they have voice acting for EVERYONE. Like random guards you walk by will yell out good afternoon professor and stuff. It is amazing.
Personally I would wait on Dragon’s Dogma 2 due to performance reasons. I have it and it’s not great on pc and is worse on consoles. Baulder’s Gate 3 is a solid choice for the amount of gameplay in it. If you enjoyed Strangers Of Paradise I think you would really enjoy Rise of the Ronin the most.
Baldur’s Gate 3 hands down
Fwiw if you’re on PC [the BG3 physical edition is already shipping](https://x.com/larianstudios/status/1770157345047560311?s=46&t=LIhtcAToTOOQBWIJPeQrYA), console versions soon too.
I think you’ll get a lot of time out of BG3 and Three Houses. 🙂
Nier / Baldur’s Gate.
Definitely Greedfall! Sorry, but this is the first time I see someone else mentioning one of my favourite RPG’s so I have to pick that. It’s great. The gameplay is refreshing. The story and the ways to resolve it are unique. The companions are loveable. The world is so pretty. I lovelovelove it and I hope I can convince many others to give it a try!
BG3 a safe pick.
Hard to say without knowing your tastes.
If you like the Soulsborne vibes, Wo Long is great.
If you like the Monster Hunter vibes, Granblue is incredible.
Edit to say I would *not* recommend Lords of the Fallen. To anyone. lol
Personally I was not impressed with wo long, however if you like souls type of games you might like it.
Baldurs gate 3 is absolutely amazing especially if you love rpgs and good story.
Stranger of paradise has good combat, however most of the story just feels meh.
Dragon dogma 2 – I feel the story is not as good as some other games mentioned, however the gameplay can be rather fun.
Greedfall is like a hidden gem. If you liked bioware games such as dragon age, you will enjoy this one.
Nioh – has a fun gameplay, but you also need to master the weapons as some bosses are easier to defeat with specific weapons.
Dragons dogma – get DD2 instead. DD2 does pretty much everything better compared to the original.
Ronin – I absolutely loved it! You can pet cats and dogs too as well as customise your character and play as a girl! The story has been good this far and the map is about the same size as ghost of tsushima.
Nier – I would recommend starting with automata and decide if you like it or not as even it is a great game, it is not for everyone.
There are other games on the list which I have played but not for long enough to give an opinion or recommend.
Out of the ones I have mentioned I would probably recommend BG3, greedfall or rise of the ronin since they are quite story heavy and pretty to look at.
BALDUR’S GATE, I didn’t even continue reading after that
BG3 for sure, but I have a quick question:
I see you have Stranger of Paradise checked, so assuming you beat that? What’d you think of it?
Despite what people think, I really loved it, from start to end!
BALDURS GATE 1000000%!
BG3 for sure
Baulder’s gate !!!
Wow , I have completed 0 games of this list. (Have played Nioh 2 and Dragon’s Dogma)
Personally I don’t play any of these games but I heard baldurs gate is really good
It seems like you’ve got a lot of action RPG’s listed here. If that’s a genre you’re really into, let me tell you: Nioh 2 is the best of them on this list. I’ve played all of these (With the exception of Strangers of Paradise, and Enotria, because it isn’t out yet), and it’s easily the smoothest, most polished, most fun game, and has the most content of all of them.
It’s also got the best character creator.
Oooh, my vote is Fire Emblem if you’ve never played it. Admittedly the FL’s armor bums me out, but the story is fantastic.
Fire emblem three houses FUCKS, arguably I liked it even more than BG3. But it’s a very different game
FE:3H is a must play, one of my favorite games of all time.
BG3 or Dragon’s Dogma EASILY
I’m sorry I am so biased but Nier Replicant is one of my favorite games of all time so I’m going to have to go with that 😭
BG3
What does the red ! mean? (anyone else hear that btw? lol)
Honestly, it’s a pretty solid list. I would say that whatever your budget is, pick the cheapest ones to maximize the use of your funds and get the most amount of games.
If you are being a responsible gamer and sticking to one game only, I think the best bet is to go by what genre or gameplay you are in the mood for since there is quite the variety there.
Q: Which game I should pick as my birthday gift?
A: Yes!
Dragons Dogma first, Dark Arisen preferably. Then, move on to DD2.
Lords of the fallen is terrible btw, definitely not worth the money.
Either Three Houses or BG3, Three Houses is my favorite game of all time, it’s a great Strategy RPG with some life/social sim aspects, but Baldur’s Gate 3 would be better if you prefer Action RPGs and open world games
Three Houses would probably be easier to get physical, as last I checked, BG3 was extremely difficult to get physical versions for, though that was back in December, so it might be easier to get now
BG3 hands down.
Wait for a price drop for Dragon’s Dogma 2. It’s a lot of fun, but also it’s an incomplete game in its current form.
Greedfall is a very nice game too.
baldurs gate is incredible
Baldur’s Gate 3!!!!!
BG3 is a once in a lifetime experience. Absolutely recommend
BG3 is obviously great so I’ll recommend Fire Emblem 3 Houses. :3
