Hey ladies. This is the first trailer for my team’s new game, a deckbuilding rogulike where you fish for weapons with a giant claw! As it says in the title, this came about after we all went to Japan on holiday and became addicted to the arcades, especially the claw machine… So we ended up turning it into a game with the punniest name ever, Dungeon Clawler.

The art is pretty cute, but the main theme is fighting. I’m wondering if this is something you would see yourself play? Would love to hear what you think.

seems neat it’s not really my thing so im not sure if i would play it past the first stages unless something gets me but seems cool for the people who are into that genre
i just want to say why are the weapons shining? only some shine but even then some stop shining which visually is very confusing to me maybe that can get cleared up

I just played the demo for half an hour and this is so much fun, simple but so fun.

After playing for a bit I’m really looking forward to what else you do with this game! It’s already such a fun gameplay loop I can’t wait for more!!
Are there any plans for more playable characters? Thedesign is so cute but I’d love to play a more girly character or something along those lines haha! <3

Only if it does that thing where it looks like its picking it up but just slides off. Got the dropping stuff while moving down! The claw thing does look like a pretty unique mechanic. Kinda want it just to play claw game… Does it come with a coin slot accessory? Controller support and joystick support? Has to have joystick support.
Edit: Cool company name and logo. Fawn fits real well for a girl studio. Props that the EA build is a free demo. Hopefully you can get on Switch and sell it to 5 bajillion kids with switches.
Looks like it might help fill the Nintendo Badge Arcade shaped hole in my life after Nintendo shut that game down.
