Help me choose for my time at the hospital

Easy to pick up and play. Not so tempting to min max like Stardew. Immersive. Your favourite. Whatever

  1. I can really recommend Coral Iland as a #1 and Sun Haven as a #2

Travellers rest is also pretty nice especially since the new story patch!

I hope your doing well fellow Gamer friend and may u get better soon! ❤️🌸

  2. I’d probably recommend coral island for something you can really sink your teeth into and distract yourself with as it’s huge in scope and has a lot of gameplay attached.

Moonstone island is good, but smaller and more repetitive than coral island.

Travellers rest I probably wouldn’t recommend because there isn’t a lot to do, but I think they just put out a big update so that might have changed since I played a few months ago

  3. Sun Haven is a game I can play for hours and hours. It’s pixel art, but very good! It has a main story and quests, but you can totally ignore it and do your own thing. The fishing game is easy once you get the hang of it and actually doesn’t infuriate me like Stardew, lol. It also just had an update awhile ago where you can have children and added another town and a black market. There are also a cozy options! You can turn off seasonal bosses, and if you hate fighting (there’s a lot), there’s an option to make yourself invincible. And you can make the days go up to 40 minutes, so you have more time to do stuff.

  4. I impulsively bought The Mortuary Assistant yesterday (Baader Meinhof phenomenon – never heard of the game before and now it feels like I’m seeing it everywhere). I’m working up the courage to play it tonight. I’ll let you know if it’s good.

    Update:

Love this game! Honestly, not as scary as I thought it would be – after a while it felt a bit like trying to work from home while a cat desperately tries to get your attention lol. It is very short but it can take a while to get all the endings and the shifts are repayable so you could squeeze a fair bit of playtime out of it. I wouldn’t want to play it in a public space though because if someone catches a glimpse of your screen at the wrong moment it could be a bit awkward. I also did swear very loudly more than a few times.

  5. coral island is on game pass. so for the same price you can play heaps of different games as well for a month. and if you’re new, on PC. Get *your first 14 days for $1, then its $13.95/month*

has stardew, sims, sandrock, disney valley and other lovely cozy bangers.

  6. I would say Sun Haven because it’s the best deal right now. A lot of my friends have described it as stardew but with more magic, so if that’s sounds up your alley, I recommend it! Also, good luck in the hospital, I wish you well!

  7. Coral island is brilliant – I’m playing it right now, and it has literally 100s of hours of content between restoring the town, cleaning up the sea, and befriending the villagers above and under the water. They just released a big update, as well, so it’s the perfect time to jump in!

Moonstone island is also one of my faves; if you like farming sims, Pokemon and card battling, you’ll absolutely love it!

Sun Haven and Traveller’s rest are also both really solid, though I enjoyed them less than the other two games above.

Whatever you end up choosing, good luck with your hospital stay!

  8. Mortuary Assistant to mess up the heart rate monitoring and to laugh. For some reason, that game is hilarious to me.

Coral Island if you need immersion and no time constraining play like in Travellers Rest.

Palia is free to play but requires internet connection and I know not a single hospital with good wifi.

If you don’t have the Two Point Hospital game yet, that’s also a nice one to play–it has humor, a simulation type with goals/objectives and not a lot of micro managing.
